Dan's music has been described as...
"power pop with smart lyrics,
strong melodies and big hooks."

An Albany, New York area native, Dan Sherwin has been entertaining crowds in the Capital Region for over eighteen years as one half of the phenomenally successful Duo, Strange Arrangement.  Dan has been invited to perform in support and and alongside such artists as B.B. King, Bob Weir of The Greatful Dead, Warren Zevon, The Band, Styx, The Spin Doctors, The Bangles, Suzanne Vega, and many others.
 

VENUES:
In addition to performing in virtually every local establishment including: Doc McCutchen's, The Caboose, Troy Pub & Brewery, Bogies, Pauly's Hotel, The Cranberry Bog and The Big House; Dan has played many notable venues in New York City including The Ritz, The Bottom Line, The Bitter End, and the Sun Mountain Cafe.  In Upstate New York, Dan performed at Albany's Palace Theatre, The Chance in Poughkeepsie, Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC), Woodstock '94, Penn State, and "A Day In The Garden"...

RECORDING:
Dan has recorded and released four CD's of original music that have had extensive airplay on local radio stations such as WPYX, WQBK, WEQX, and Poughkeepsie's WPDH.

BIO REVISITED:
As a Singer, Guitarist, and Songwriter, Dan has built a reputation as an original, innovative interpreter of modern pop and rock.  As a Songwriter, Dan is responsible for some of the area's finest original tunes.  Dan has also built a reputation as a consummate professional in his dealings with area presenters of musical entertainment for over the last decade.
